How to Use Event Labels in the Sales Process
Event labels are a great way to manage what step of your sales process each enquiry is on. The Enquiry status can be huge, event labels is a way to create your own sub-status labels for enquiries.
What Are Event Labels?
Event labels are completely customisable tags that appear in blue on the event heading across all event-related pages. They have no defaults, so you can create labels that suit your venue's needs. You add labels in the label field of an event, and they appear at the top of the event header alongside the couple's name and date.
Example labels: High Profile, Church Ceremony, Live Music, Pets Included, Early Access, Nut-Free, Mid-Week, With House, Without House.
How to Use Event Labels
- Sales process tracking: Create sub-status labels to track where each enquiry is in your pipeline (e.g., Sign Off, Prepped, Had Final).
- Event variations: Use labels to distinguish variations within an event type. For example, use the "Wedding" event type and add a label like "Mid-Week" or "Twilight" instead of creating a separate event type.
- Filtering: You can filter your event list by labels, making it easy to find specific groups of events.
- Staff assignments: Team members can filter the event list by labels to see only the events assigned to them. Staff should also subscribe to events to receive notifications.
- Allergy & safety alerts: Add labels for important event-wide information such as airborne allergies (e.g., "Nut-Free") so it is visible at a glance on the event heading.
