How can I set up an out-of-office or automated reply for a specific time period?
Sonas does not currently support out-of-office (OOO) auto replies or time-based automated replies for incoming emails. This feature is on the development roadmap.
Workaround: If you use email forwarding from an external email provider (e.g., Outlook) into Sonas, you can set up an auto reply directly in that email provider. For example, configure an out-of-office reply in Outlook for the dates you'll be away. Just be careful that the auto-reply rule does not interfere with the forwarding rule that sends emails into Sonas — you may need your IT team to assist with this.
Note: If you receive enquiries through a Sonas external form, you can assign an auto-reply template that is sent immediately upon form submission. To configure this, go to Company > External Forms, select the form you want to edit, and configure the Auto Reply With Templates setting. This auto-reply is sent as soon as the enquiry is received and cannot be scheduled for a specific time period.
